As one of 7 pilot districts and building on over a decade of success, St. Mary's County Public Schools is implementing a collaborative evaluation system using 4 domains of professional practice, and piloting a 5th domain using student performance as a measure of teacher effectiveness. While this session does not provide every answer, participants will understand the process and the lessons learned in framing an evaluation system to meet the requirements of Race to the Top.
