Would you enjoy spending a week in the summer at Mount Vernon with teachers from around the country?  Come learn about this amazing opportunity! Also explore the world of Washington & other military leaders during the American Revolution by analyzing primary source images.  Participants will receive a lesson plan that integrates social studies with technology & a variety of sources to obtain additional lessons.

The elementary group created an e-book "Children's Lives at Colonial London Town" Have also attended several history workshops during the summers including the "George Washington's Teachers Institute" at Mount Vernon and "James Madison and the War of 1812" at Montpelier.
